This plant comes in three colors, yellow, red and white. We have no white for the last couple of years due to the tendancy for them to rot in too cold and wet weather. This one here is the yellow variety. Behind it you can see
an Opuntia phaecantha, and a blue Agave, Agave americana 'glauca'.
