This rock is planted with sempervivum (hen and chicks)
These native Coastal Live Oaks are festooned (hard
to tell in photo) with bunches of bromeliads
The Japanese Garden at Lotusland
This garden has all the ease, and serenity one expects
from a Zen contemplation garden. The tours give no time to sit in quiet
contemplation of the water, insects or nothingness, but it is a nice sight
to see even for the short walk around it.
The Ampitheatre.
Madame Ganna Walska had this unit built to entertain
with small plays and music.
The small gnomes she had brought from her estate in France.
They are kinda cute yet grotesque at the same time.
Another view of the ampitheater
A close up of a couple gnomes.
The lady behind is lifting up her skirt, a bit scandalous,
sorry!
