The Main House entry path.
The Main House of Lotus land has a nice entry path winding through part of the garden.
The gardens of Lotus Land comprise many styles and a huge variety of succulents.
I really enjoyed the tour of this world famous garden.

The Main Formal Garden.
Lotusland has several gardens that would be called designed in the old Formal style.
This garden has a focal point consisting of the Moorish style Fountain enclosed by the clipped hedges.
Alongside the hedges in the avenue formed, are designs made by rocks cemented into place into intricate designs.
   At the fountain one has a view to the four directions, and can sight into each opening available,
and is presented with another view that has another focal point.

The Lotusland Rose Garden    This garden is nice in the spring and summer, but taken in February 1999.    Lotusland is not regarded as a fine example of flower gardening, it is more involved in unique and exotic plants from around the world. Many of them are more regarded for their sometimes monsterous forms and grotesque shapes. I really liked it! Unfortunately I did not take enough photos to do the place justice, but it takes a reservations a year in advance to arrange a tour.

Lotusland clock.
This clock is actually a working timepiece.
It has huge hands that spin and mark out the time pointing to various signs of the zodiac
that correspond on the clock to the Arabic numbering system we use today.
Small succulents are planted inside the clock face, and add a note of color to the time of day.
