This mural honors Charles Everette,
the city's first fire chief. He served from 1916 to 1950. The little boy
on the truck is Chief Everette's son, Ed, currently a Lompoc resident.

Here is the Central crossroads
of Lompoc. The intersection of 'H' street and 'Ocean' avenue. Here we have
a building on the side of the intersection on which is depicted the inside
plaza of the local mission.

Many Lompocians grew up driving
the family tractor when they were ten. Now most of the farms are large
corporation farms, and the drivers are professional tractor drivers. The
Lompoc area is famous for both it's flower seed, and lettuce and cole crops.

Here is a mural which shows the
various travel options availavble in Lompoc at one time or another.The
Pacific Coast Railroad runs near town, the Hwy 101 is nearby also.
