Photos of the Rivenrock Cats
This photo of Mimi-Coke was taken in January 2005 and is in our screensaver, free for you to download! This screensaver has eleven photos of our cats. They live outdoors in the wilderness, they are tough cats, and the winter brings out the nicest in their coats. Visit more screensavers by Rivenrock Gardens at: Rivenrock Screensavers |
These little darlings were born on Mother's day, May9,
1999.
They are cute and adorable and ready soon to go to
new homes.
Gipetto is the mother.
Photo taken June 5, 1999
And these are Mimi-Coke's babies, they were born on
May 27, 1999.
This photo was taken on June 7.
Mimi-Coke is the only baby from Gipetto's first litter
in Spring 1998. Gipetto was herself born to a feral cat in our pond in
the summer of 1997 when the water was all dried up. When the rains came
and started filling the pond the mother carried the babies underneath our
patio deck. Gipetto is the only one we kept. The others all went to Woods
humane society.
The father of these ones seems to be 'Big Orange',
a feral Tom Cat.
These feral descendant cats tend to be very affectionate,
as well as adapted to our arid and rough terrain.
