Rivenrock organic insect control
Tomato hornworm, this critter is ugly and scary as heck, but it will NOT sting you with it's 'phony' stinger. But it will eat lots of tomato family leaves, so pick them off individually or spray/dust with a BT (Bacillus thuringiensis) mix. This mix is a virus that only harms caterpillars, so is safer than other insecticides and is generally approved for organic use.
For the most extensive, easy to use, and beautifully done site full of great photos of insect pests, The best site I have yet seen is . The insect and pest slide show.
