San
Antonio Botanical Gardens
San Antonio Texas
These are photos from my 1998 trip
to the Botanical gardens in San Antonio,
My thanks to the fine folks of the gardens who made our visit so memorable, thanks.
These are inside the Large Conservatory, palms and more!

Here are the pyramid shaped conservatories,

I like Japanese style gardens, this one is called
the Kumamoto-en, from the sister city of San
Antonio; Kumamoto. Every other year the
people of Kumamoto send a team over to San
Antonio to repair the bamboo fences and re-do
any part of the Japanese Garden there that
needs a little more upkeep.
This is a historic cabin that was moved from
it's nearby location to the San Antonio Botanical
garden. The people of San Antonio sent a team to
Kumamoto japan to build a similar cabin there,
to show the people there the frontier American
life, and to serve as a bond between the sister cities.
